Where it started

We were speaking the language of P&Ls in our tweens.

Holly and her brother Jody grew up learning accounting from their mother, Daphne — a controller for a restaurant group. They were reading P&Ls before high school and doing bank recs over spring break. That upbringing is why finance, for us, has never been a back-office chore. It’s the language we think in.
